We’re pleased to announce that we were successful in applying for two RACGP Education Research Grants (ERGs).
The projects we’ll be carrying out with the grant funding are:
- What’s in a visit? Establishing the content and perceived utility of Clinical Teaching Visits (CTV) in different settings within Australian GP training.
- A mixed-methods exploration of the effectiveness of Registrar Clinical Encounters in Training (ReCEnT) as a work-based assessment and Patient Encounter Tracking and Learning Tool (PETAL).
The Education Research Grant (ERG) program aims to build regional training organisation research capability in medical education and training with a specific focus on education improvement. The overarching objective is to develop evidence-based education initiatives that increase training capacity and improve educational outcomes in GP training.
